We are taking an extended Easter break, but we will be back in November. In the meantime, please keep sending articles, art, poetry and stories.
The cover art this month is by Pascual, a local artist from Pochutla whose work is found in galleries here and in Mexico City. We also feature art by Fantazia — a native of Mexico City who has spent the last several years in Mazunte and Puerto Escondido.
Magazine publishers sometimes imagine an ideal reader: ours is a 12-year-old child who may have never read a magazine before. We remember being a child like that. Puerto is still new to us, and an endless source of fascination and wonder. We hope we never grow up.
