Water Festival, 2025

MARCH 22 IS WORLD WATER DAY AND IT HAS BEEN celebrated for the past three years in the Parque Idilio in Puerto Escondido, thanks to the efforts of an organizing committee convoked by Claudia María Herrmann Tepete.

The goal of the Water Festival is to inform the community, especially the children, about the problems Puerto is facing when it comes to having an adequate water supply and an inadequate sewage system. There were a number of speakers and music and games.
